Behemoth facing indicator wrong in mouselook mode
Moving the mouse is enough to teleport the facing indicator every which way under some circumstances...

I don't quite understand what you mean.
I'm lost too! Define your use of "teleport" and those mysterious circumstances.
All I can come up with is that if your controller sensitivity is set above the median, a little mouse nudge can bury the slam the indicator into the edge of the screen until the ship catches up with the view. This is a direct result of low ship agility and high controller sensitivity.

Use the rcontrol "inertial dampeners" at about 25-50% and you should be good.
Took me a while to remember this thread. Sorry about the bump.
No, that is not what I mean. If you do certain rolling maneuvers (some of which I employ against lighter ships) in ANY ship, not just the Behemoth as I originally thought, the indicator which shows where your ship is facing does not match up with where it is actually facing. It's directly related to the difference between the actual roll of your ship and the roll of the camera.
I have lost duels as a result of this. It's out of sync enough to throw off my aim.
To reproduce this, turbo in one direction in mouselook mode, move the camera about a screen-inch away from the facing indicator and roll. The facing indicator moves, and doesn't match where you are actually facing.
The effect is more pronounced in heavier ships, of course.

I can confirm that the camera does roll faster than your ship, especially in a Behemoth. Target yourself with }, start rolling, and watch as your camera rolls faster than the target box around your ship. The Behemoth is very visable when you do that, for other ships it's not as noticable, but you can make it more noticable by typeing /roll & then also rolling with your e key. Your camera will basically roll twice as fast as the ship.
The aim reticle is showing you where you looking relative to your ship. It does not show you what direction your ship is facing relative to your view.
Maybe it should be the latter instead of the former.
