SMV Nemesis

After seeing the SMV Nemesis patrol on an endless and pointless routine, I came up with away to make use of the ship. Every so often, would it be possible to organize a Nation activity to infiltrate Serco space and Destroy the Nemesis? Like some kind of special ops Strike Mission. Right now this can only really be done for the Itani, except for Serco being able to defend, but it does not seem like it would be hard to spawn a patroling Itani ship in Itani space. (I might be wrong about this) Anyway, 'tis just and idea/

I'd rather have the Nemesis invade Itani space & be part of the Border Patrol / Border Incursion missions. I can see an Order of Akan mission to invade Serco space (either to attack the Nemesis, or something else), but the official Itani stance as described in the backstory is non-aggressive, so I don't see there being official Itani missions attacking Serco space. But I do want to see more missions around the Nemesis, either invading Itani space, or an Order of Akan mission invading Serco space to attack it.

I think that if an invasion team is to destroy it, the armor for the nemisis or caps in general need to be turned down, and rags need to be able to cross the border into serco space.

Rags can cross the border into Serco space. The Strike Force really isn't a threat, until you stop running. Rags could get in at least a couple passes on the Nemesis before the SF caught up and did them in. A skilled pilot probably wouldn't even have much trouple completely unloading a rocket or missile rag. And I'd really dislike it if the cap ships got their armor cut. They should be extremely buff, I like them the way they are now (mostly).

Never having seen the Avalons myself, I think it would be a good idea to bring a similar kind of missiles/rockets (described as "Nukes") created specifically for the purpose of attacking capships. The thing would be slow, heavy, targeteable, and do horrible amounts of damage (and splash damage) and an effective range of about 2000m, but it would require contact to go off. Thus, it would be nigh impossible to hit even a Behemoth with it, and a rag armed to the gills with it would need an escort since its performance would suffer while carrying it.

If you want to limit the weapon further, make it available ONLY when taking the "assault the capship" mission people want. Of course, you could take the missions and then use the things to blast other stuff besides the capships, but that would make the actual mission harder. And of course, should you choose to abort the mission, you're seen as a coward/traitor/untrustworthy and you take a noticeable (though not crippling) faction hit.
