Station Creation ideas

Okay, so we know that guild owned stations are planned for the future. Here are some things that could make them more interesting.

-Contracts with other companies: You make contracts for materials to be shipped to your station, and agree to ship a certain percentage of the product back. This keeps traffic going in and out of your station, so that you make money, and the station can grow.

-Station Industry Modules: You can choose what your station specializes in. Mining, refining, manufacturing, etc. This goes hand-in-hand with trading contracts.

-Racetracks: If you're rich enough, you can construct a racetrack outside your station to make extra income.

-Dueling Arena: If you're rich enough, and you have a station with an interesting shape (possibly with a largish enclosure of some sort, you can establish a subspace link with other stations in the system, and designate a 600m sphere around your station to be a Dueling Arena. Two players challenge each other in the bar, and notification of the challenge is transmitted to other stations. Other players can bet on the duel, and a small percentage of the pot goes back to you. The NFZ is temporarily disabled for the dueling players, and they fight it out in close proximity to your station.

While both racetracks and dueling arenas (especially dueling arenas) can be lucrative, they can also attract a criminal element to your station, which drives away (npc) traders.

Renting space for storage. (Not too pricey)
Renting space for crafting prototyping labs. (Kinda pricey)
Renting space for assembly lines for production of your crafted items. (Pretty pricey)

Stations require certain levels of goods and money to remain at 100% efficiency. If that # drops below 100, then the efficiency of everything in the station is affected. If it's at 75%, then 25% of everything in that station is wasted.

Station A.I. that reacts to the economy, spawns missions for goods when it needs them, spawns NPC traders to do their mining & trading if players don't accept missions.

How about the ability to own a shipyard.
A bigA$$ station that can build cappies and lower!
Also different sizes of shipyards if you can't afford the big one.
Would make purchasing cappies interesting especially if you had to order large amounts of ores to make it and pirates could stop (lets say IA) from making a cap ship (OR) delay the building.
