two ideas

i'd like to design a cd label and sleeve so people can 'distribute' vo to friends. all i really need is some misc info to put opposite the obligatory 'compact disc, data storage' thing, a copy of the "vendetta online" logo in the page_top_loggedin.jpg and maybe put together a hybrid iso to run it onto.

also, alot of us go all the way out to corvus to get and equip better tech. i propose a wandering corvus cap ship we can dock with and have stuff fitted on. we can't buy it there, but we can have them duct tape it to our ship.

as an alternative, have a random mission where a visiting tech from grey space is advertising at a random station. the mission would subtract his fee (instead of paying out like most missions} and while the mission is active allow users to buy and install hardware at any station. add on a time limit. the syndicate knows time is money.

In regards to the CD label/case thing, VO originally shipped in a box with a CD in a case... the devs could probably find that stuff somewhere and make it available if they wanted to.

i think a redesign is in order anyhow.

oh and one more idea for the pot. those special delivery for specs on certain items has me thinking. get your hand on the specs, the minerals needed and make parts that can be combined into things like weapons and commodities.

No to the roving Corvus blackmarket idea. The current tradeoff to getting stuff from Corvus is getting said stuff out of grey space.

I like the roving Corvus blackmarket idea. Just make the capship hard to find like have it wander around empty sectors in different grey systems and only allow corvus friendly players to dock with it.

I always hoped this would be the kind of thing players could do once there were player-owned cappies. I like the idea of a player or guild-owned black market cap ship wandering through space selling to and outfitting players for a hefty fee.
