NEW Repair "Weapons"

OK, so I got feedback from others about the "Guild-specific" nature of my last post and have reposted as such:

Hello all, ElvisClone777 here! While I understand the need for many and varied implements of destruction (after all, without 'em, we wouldn't have a job!), I would like to express my dismay at the lack of tools that are repair-friendly. Over 100 weapons of destruction, both mass and personal, and 2 repair guns. If you count the storm radar extender, there are 3 tools with which to HELP the entire Vendetta UNIVERSE with!!!
My suggestion is 1 or 2 more repair-type add-ons. I would like to see a repair CANNON (or similar), ammo around 60 or so (but absolutely more than 30!), with the ability to acheive more healing per blast, 1000-3000, and possibly the best auto-aim of any weapon/component in the game. It doesn't make much sense to me that the only reason the Mrk 2 Repair Gun is better than the Mrk 1 is because it recharges faster. Not to mention you need 15 mentor points to acquire said device. Yes, I know, you can trade for them or get them from guild members, but that's beside my point. I've heard the idea of homing repair missiles thrown about, but am not sure this is practical-how many pilots want a missile coming their way, friendly or not!
OK, here's my design: Repair Cannon, based on Gauss Cannon
Small port weapon, repairs 1500-5000 per shot, ammo based on battery charge, weight of 2000, energy drain of 60 per shot, excellent auto-targeting. It would be nice to make these available to those that have repaired 100+ needy vessels, but I guess that would mean tracking PRs(Player Repairs) as well as PKs. Any reason why not?
In closing, I have reposted this thread with new title and some new content. Maybe if we get enough responses, my dream will become tangible!

I agree with elvis completely, Medic weapons of such have been completely ignored in the past, with only a thought to repair modules.

Your name alone makes supporting you a given! And yes, repair weapons add a whole new layer of complexity to group play. I remembe the few times we tried squad tactics with the repair guns. It was almost completely unviable, thanks to the difficulty of using them, but it was oh, so fun.

I don't have any specific ideas design, but I wanted to add my support to the thread.

How about a self-repair widget (onboard repair bot) that takes one light wep slot?
Can repair up to 15000 hull points total.
After it's depleted you need to buy a new one.

I like the idea of a Repair Mine with reverse damage, so it heals ANYONE instead of killing them in lagness.

However I do have an Idea of my own;

Repair Turret:
Drops like a mine, but does not explode. Repairs ANYONE.
The turret is fitted with two small ports (like on the moth heavies) that shoots out repair shots at a high speed, but low range. The shots would look like, and have gatling turret accuracy, and run on a ONE time use battery cell, that has something close to a 5000 capacity points, or whatever the pt's are called. This turret, when the battery is empty simply disappears. It can be shot, however, and this will cause an explosion.
Stats are:
[Repair Turret]
LARGE PORT
Cost: 20 000c (Any suggestions on this?)
Grid Power: 12
Mass: 10 000kg
Energy needed to fire: 460ep
One time use Internal Powercell: 0 Recharge/sec 5000 capacity.
On depletion of powercell, explode at 0 blast radius, and 0 splash. Therefore causing no damage.

One on each side of the mine:
[Stat] Small turret: Repairs 150DP/shot (Gatling Animation Effect)
Energy 50EP/blast (EACH) ||| Refire Rate: 0.100s
Targeting: Excellent ||| Velocity: 180m/s ||| Life: 1s.

The self-repair "bot" would make the most sense, and would definitly have an advantage when bot-hunting.

Instead of a limited total amount of usage, how about being able to turn it on and off? When on, it repairs 150-300 points of dmg per second with a 30-50 drain on the battery?

Edit:

A small and a large port version would be nice as well, with one repairing less per second than the other.

I like the idea of the lmine, and I think it would work better, and would be easier to implement, than mine, however, I do like how mine looks, :P.
