Ban PaladinOfLancelot from the forums...
Over the years I've seen requests to ban players from the game, all without merit. Honestly, I don't care if he's in game... just another target in my eyes. The forums are different. VO is starting to move forward, people are becoming interested, investing, checking it out.
Theoretically, it should be a great time for all of us! Now, all forums will have trolls... (and VO has some of the best ever)... our trolls are fun, entertaining but above all, they love VO as much as any of us. Hell, I'm more likely to open a thread I see Lecters name as the last poster before I open one I actually care about.
PaladinOfLancelot on the other hand, is not entertaining. He insults anyone who disagrees with him, belittles the Devs and forum mods... (not even in a fun way), never addresses viewpoints that point out obvious flaws in his greatly flawed ideas, has elevated himself to the delusional position of martyr and is so universally hated that he causes people who hate each other to join forces against him.
It used to be fun to shoot down his ideas and see the community put aside differences to force this particularly ugly breed of troll back under his bridge... but, not anymore.
Right now we need VO's best foot forward... and this guys not it.

I agree that he's pretty much a worthless idiot and I'd be pleased if he disappeared, but that isn't enough justification in my book to ban somebody. He is insufficiently hostile.

This is not helpful in keeping the peace. If anyone were to be banned, it would not be due to a vote.
