I think it would be useful if while looking at a system nav map, double-clicking on a wormhole switched to the nav map of the system on the other side of the wormhole. Then I wouldn't have to keep switching back and forth between system and universe maps.

yeah, or a keyboard shortcut that I could use to toggle universe/sector map.

I think I like Beolach's idea more. It'd be really useful if setable waypoints were implemented.

Oh, and on the Universe map, double-clicking on a system could zoom in to the system. No more dragging my mouse all the way over to the button. ;)

randomize, use 'z' (for zoom).

P.S. I second Beolach's ideas. I had thought of them myself, but ended up binding 'z' to a convenient button instead (not an in-game feature, afaik).
