I'm having issues with crackling sound, both with music and with sound effects. I'm using a Creative X-Fi on Ubuntu 11.04 64bit and ALSA sound. I've tried adjusting the music and sound volume, but that just lowers the volume of the crackles. Is this a general Linux issue or a problem with my setup? It's the only program I have sound issues with.

No crackling over here, other than a minor glitch when the turbo sound loops (well, I assume that glitch still exists - I got so used to it that I don't hear it anymore unless I think about it).
