So i am KoS of UIT (--1000) nation. I cant seem to get my score up higher. I want to be off of their KoS list. Is there a way to up my standings without being shot by UIT bots constantly? Please help.
Three ways:
1) Go to Odia M-14 and take the Faction Standing Reperation mission - costs 30 million credits - and gives you -599 (easy way, costs a lot of credits, and it can only be done once per faction iirc)
2) Sneak into a system like Azek, Nyrius or Verasi and shoot hive bots in an unmonitored sector (lose the strike force first, either by empty space hopping, or docking with a none UiT station). Each hive bot you kill will repair around 0.75 of a faction point. Takes a while, but is possible. You can shoot any bot - they all give the same faction - so find a sector with just collectors. Also because not all stations in UiT space are UiT, you can dock* + repair if needed. (easy once you are in, takes a while)
*note, you cannot dock in Dau or Arta regardless, as they are capitals. Also the strike forces will hunt you while in these systems roid clusters.
3) Take escort missions to UiT stations. You do not have to follow the convoy the whole way. Each mission will give you 2-3 faction points, more if you are lucky enough to fall into an Ion storm and get a few kills while the convoy is in the storm. (hard to do, as not every station in UiT space is UiT and the missions run out for a while when taken by you and/or others. Takes aaaaaaaages.)

or... delete character and make new if you do not have much invested.
Embrace your KOS status and become a pirate, and make a separate character that isn't.
Botting in UIT for faction repair is actually relatively easy. The hard part is getting past the turrets, just get a cheap and relatively fast (infiniturbo) ship and dodge by turboing for one second, change bearing, repeat.It used to be the case that sometimes you're instakilled on arrival depending on whether the sector was already up, if that's still the case, just try again or try a different WH.
Once you're past, dock and home in a non-UIT station, then go botting in the same system. If you avoid monitored sections, the strike force shouldn't bother you anymore. You can probably even take regular combat missions and work on your levels while repairing your standing. As soon as you are high enough, you can take regular procure missions to get back up.
