I saw smth abt being able to purchase illicite dents in ukari. Is it true? And if so where is the station?
No, purchasing dents is not possible atm. You have to manufacture them through a series of mgf-ing missions, which start with making the reactor/powercell in Pelatus C12 conquerable station. You'll need keys. good luck
You could purchase an entire kit from some industrious player who once upon a time thought that trident variants would actually happen.
Those who want a kit don't have enough money and those who have enough money don't want a kit.
How many billions of credits are we talking, CD?
8 billion. Rar
oh, price has come down! My statement still applies, however.
msg Aldoss about his kits
For that I'd charge real currency. Like around $100,000 to go through that again.
Pfft. If I remember right, it worked out to closer to $8,000-$10,000 back when they were first introduced, assuming the builder wanted $20/h. And the process has been made a lot easier since then.
IF these numbers are more or less true, 10 billion credits is worth $10k, so $1 = 1 million credits.
I wonder, how much money can you make as a trader with limited risk? Weapon running used to get 20M per hour easily (which would correspond to the $20/h figure), but I'm not sure how easy it is to make money nowadays?

No the VO currency is extremely inflated, the extent of the inflation we don't know because there are enormous stockpiles of credits out there. I'm talking 100's of billions.
The measure of time against real currency is a better valuation of the trident. But I don't think it holds.
I'd sell my trident for US$1k easily. There wouldn't be any buyers though at that price let alone $10,000.

And how much in game currency would you accept for your trident, if that were possible?
There is really no amount of ingame currency someone would sell their trident for because in game currency has no value to them. Again, once you build a trident, you realize that there is nothing left to spend billions of credits on. No use for billions of credits makes additional billions of credits worthless.
TRI would gladly sell a trident for in-game credits.
Just for the credits? No.
It is what we like to do and it is our RP in a sense.
Generally, buying a trident kit from TRI will cost around 2-3 billion depending on which tier of parts you decide to buy from us

If I had a Trident (I don't), and it were possible to sell one whole once it's completed (it isn't), I would sell mine for whatever the going rate on a Trident kit is, plus whatever I felt my labor in putting another kit together was worth, plus any profitable margin I would hope to earn on the transaction which would depend on the current political climate of VO (who has access to the conquerable stations, the present value of the VO credit, future outlook of the game, etc.).
For me, there is nothing in game worth selling or building for someone else.
@ Pizzasgood, that may be, but it does not take into consideration compensating for the mental and emotional anguish that's involved. ;)

"Which tier of parts you decide"?! I'm talking about a kit that has every damned thing you need at Latos M7 to do the final mission. 2-3 billion is barely worth the entire day it takes to transfer all that crap to the buyer.
I suppose I'll hold my breath and keep paying storage fees until the variants arrive. Sorry, Lecter.

Nobody is going to spend the time trading to get billions of credits to buy a trident kit. Time is better spent on making the tridents parts yourselves.
A couple hundo million here or there for top tier parts, sure. But a whole kit? Never. The economy breaks down completely when you start talking billions of credits.

Exactly my point Greenwall.
TRI is attempting to bring the price of trident parts down to be more fair for the current economy. But until the old timers that got hundreds of billions from the faulty trade system of olde, spend all their money, we really can't go much lower than what we currently sell them for.
There are some vets that have more credits than every single person that signed up and started trading AFTER the trading economy was nerfed combined.
Think about that for a second...
Now, do you see what the problem with the economy is???
Inflation
