Deneb ratio for player participated wins vs oppposing NPC wins

Does player participation have any bearing on the NPC wins/losses at all ?
Is this just RNG ?

If players participate in a deneb skirmish they impact the outcome. If they do not participate, the outcome is determined at random.

My understanding is that player-driven success or failure of the deneb skirmishes has absolutely no bearing on the outcome of skirmishes that completely lack any human involvement (and by involvement I mean actually being in sector and killing things).

My question was: "Does player participation have any bearing on the NPC wins/losses at all" ?
In otherwords: Does the player participated wins have any bearing on the outcome of the NPC wins in any way ?

Last week player participated wins of opposing nations were very close. The Itani NPC wins out performed Serco NPC wins by approx. 11-13 more wins. This is a huge handicap for Serco to overcome; and that really just makes you want to go do something else by about mid week.

In the end ,those player participated wins had no effect on the outcome of the Deneb week. It was the NPC wins that actually won Deneb.

So I wondered if there was any bearing for player participated wins on the NPC wins or or not.
Is the NPC wins completely random or is there any relationship at all to the player participation wins/losses.

well, obviously Incarnate can feel free to comment on this and correct me if I'm wrong... but...

Back when I did Deneb a lot, I analyzed the various stats over many months and came to the conclusion that NPC success was determined randomly. Some weeks itani would have the advantage, some weeks serco, sometimes there were strings of weeks of one side or the other -- all completely unrelated to the actual human player contributions.

I like ok at it like a random lottery, where player involvemt can up the chances of one side winning. I think k the real issue is making deneb rewarding enough for players to actually want to get involved. Border Patrol was a good start, but there is a lot of potential there.

I just wondered about it. I don't know if it's weighted in any way or if it's random. I assume it's random and I just happen to play during weeks that have an overwhelming number off Itani NPC wins. That is entirely possible.

It just seems suspect when it's like this every time I've ever spent an entire week there. I use to play Deneb all the time back when I subscribed every month.

I know random can do anything at any time. It's like a coin toss but sometimes you might get heads 75 out of 100 and you might get this many times in a row. I get that but it seems to play this way quit a bit in my experience in the past.

I assumed it was random but with this observation on my end I just wondered if there was any weight of any kind given to either nation or for or against player participation of either nation ?

I remember being in Deneb and the NPC ratio would always change depending on the type of battles at well. However I do believe that players do impact the itani,/servo win ratio as they affect the outcome. I've also noticed since I haven't been in deneb for a while that servo has been winning a lot more these past weeks mostly because their are rumors of a certain guild who actually do deneb, wars and hier recruits to battle. With the lack of Itani players out in the field I say that NPC ratio with player ratio has serveyed to the serco's favor and that the player ratio does affect wins or losses in Deneb war as they count as members of the itani/serco side as both teams get points from killing players NPC or player
