yes, if your looking for how to play and what to do there's a manual link to the left of your screen under Vendetta Info, check that out it should have all the answers your looking for.

The best time to get help is later in the evening when there is less going on and the online guide is around more.

Vendetta is currently more of a "technology-test" than a MMORPG at the moment, but you are welcome to hang around to bug-test and make suggestions if you like. Keep in mind that the aim is not to be exactly like an existing product, but to innovate.

For now, stick to the sector immediately outside the one you first spawned in (if you started in 1, stay in 4, if 3 then 6, if 2 then 12) to learn to kill the NPC enemies and collect cargo to sell to make money. Only approach the easier bots with 75 bounty, and use the "d" and "e" keys (strafe and rotate) to confuse the bots aim when you get within 300m of them. Hit F1 in game to see the basic controls.

Ask specific questions, don't beg for money, be polite, and avoid live players. Don't put ALL your money into a new ship or a whole load of cargo. Uprgrade your free ship with a new battery, engine and weapon and use those until you have a good amount of money (I'd say enough to buy your ship again with some cash to spare). If a player kills you and is waiting for you outside the station, stay in the station, log off, or leave in an empty free bus. Verbally abusing you assailant will not make him any kinder to you, and is against the rules.

Considering that the planet is, uhm, round and divided into timezones, which evening you talking about?

/G preferes mornings, when there are fewer people online

Evening EST is bad, that's when all the pirates are on. I reccommend around 3PM EST.
