Money problems?
A recent "high cost" cap resulted in a mini-debate on the solvency of nations so, I thought I'd post this to clear up any confusion...(*as of 2/29/04)
NATION------------------------MONEY----POP.
Itani_______________291185936 / 4862 = 59890c per capita
Serco______________200233698 / 3370 = 59417c per capita
Neutral Territories____250460063 / 3599 = 69592c per capita
As you can see, nobody is destitute but the Neutral Territories are in much better shape.

Well you also have to take into account most people that have been here for more than a month have probably a little more than that, and not to mention that probably half of the Poplations are either extra characters or people that played for a day then left.
Well i have played like a month n have alot more money thn 59890c
I have about that much.
remember, your figuring in all the dead weight of accounts that havent been used since before the reset.
relayer, i really dont think those stats have any relevance...
i am quite sure there arent 10000 user, not even 1000.
i think that active players are less than 300. so i'm guessing that the error margin in those statistics is very high.

Plus, I (and I'm sure lots of other people) have a good chunk of money in the FVIB, so tat would make itani look signifgantly more wealthy.
it does not really matter whether these numbers are correct, since it's the only one we have as of yet. if we had more, we could compare and such, but all the others would be based on estimates and hence they'd be (statistically) just as inaccurate, even more, i think.
So true toshiro. This was just to answer the claim that there was 'rampant inflation' in Serco.
The economy is infinately more complex than that and as such, a two or three ship lost defense for the pilots involved does not equal a loss of money as we home in 18 and carry enough widgets to pay for each ship we buy with quite a profit. :)
