Story Archive at the Makchuga

Oct 26, 2005 MSKanaka link
If you would like your story or stories to be put in the Makchuga's upcoming Stories Archive, please leave a list of (thread) titles in this thread.

Please also indicate if you do NOT want me to correct spelling and major grammatical mistakes. If you do not specify I will correct stuff "automagically." ;)

Cool. Thanks for doing that.

No problem—I'm using my web design classtime to work on setting up the library page.

Also, those of you who have a pdf version of your story, please email it to me at miharu (dot) kanaka (at) gmail (dot) com. If you don't have one but would like to have one, please let me know in this thread for each title you would like the PDF treatment.

»Ghost:

I'm a little hesitant to put stories that are made from the posts of several different authors (and subsequently, styles) in the archive for two reasons:

One: It could result in a story with a feeling of inconsistency. If you would like to rewrite those stories such that they are all written in a single writing style, I would certainly put them up without question. Right now, it's hard because the conflicting styles of writing make it hard for the writing to flow.

Two: Who the hell gets the credit as being the author? Seriously! A bunch of people participated, but who gets the credit in the end? The thread starter? The person who contributed the most posts/sentences/words/characters to the thread? You see my dilemma in this situation, I hope.

»Borb and LeberMac:

I have noted those threads/urls and will convert them into html docs (and in Borb's case, move a copy of the PDF to the IA server).

»who? me?:

Uh... that's not a story... that's a debate.

I would just classify it as a collaboration and list all authors for credit.

This has to be my most fav RP: http://vendetta-online.com/x/msgboard/7/9457#108606

I love that one, feel free to edit the spelling or what ever in that story as well as in my PDF.

Yeah and credit for that story goes to BLAK.

You are just simply under arrest! Up Against the WALL!

hehe...

/me pulls out the cuffs, and then realizes that he brought along the pink fuzzy ones for Mystic...

Ooooh.... this cannot be good...

I think Borb'll like the pink fuzzy ones as well... He's got a feminine side...

I think it stopped being good when you started arresting dead guys, has VPR really fallen that far with BLAK gone?

I'll take the fuzzys though I think they bring out my eyes.
