Like many Asian cultures of Sol I, the family name comes first. Eras comes from a long line of highly distunguished Dickataks.

Dickatak is, of course, pronounced "Jones".

I've heard of an unfortunate trader going by the name of Dick Rotos.

I expect that's pronounced 'John Smith'.

I knew a guy in RL named Dick Holder. Funny thing was he was cool with it, used it as a conversation starter.

Ahaha...

This is wonderful.

Wow, with all do respect, what kind of parents name their son, "Dick (short for William?) Holder." It's like naming your son Adolf when his last name is Hitler. Your just asking for trouble.

Well he was an older guy from back when Dick was the cool name to name people. Then young guys like us named some thing else Dick and well... Hehe.

And yeah that was his legal name, Dick, not Rick, not Richard, not William, just Dick. I just have to give props to him for keeping it, there is a guy who does not care about what any one else thinks, and is secure in him self.

Borb, did Mr. Holder work for Reynold's Aluminum?

"His name is 'Stoat Warbler Mangrove', but it's pronounced 'Jones'."

Oh, ok. Definately props for that. If he was closer to our generation, it'd be like naming someone Adolf Hitler, or kids named Osama Bin Laden. There were stories of kids being taken out of school for being beaten up to much after S 11. Nasty nasty world.
