Event idea: Nation Invasion

This event might take a while, but here's the basic idea. It is between the Serco and the Itani, with the UIT allowed to perticipate. I'll detail each stage below.

1) Both teams distrubute pilots on their corresponding sides of the Deneb-Giera divide.

2) The Serco charge, and must make it to the Itani capital and destroy the Marshall and all station guards, (strike forces not included).

3) The Itani must then attempt an incursion into the Serco capital. They must make it to the Serco capital and destroy the Marshall and all station guards.

4) If both teams accomplish their goals, the event is a tie and prize money is added to the next weeks pot. The same goes if both teams fail to accomplish their goals.

Ok, so what do you think? I'm definately not going to be the one to sponsor it, but it might be fun if someone else tried it...

[EDIT] It would also be cool if both teams could have a capship when it's their turn to invade to counter the strike-forces.

Well, you cant kill all the station guards, they respawn, instantly, so ehum, what do I think of it>? I dont. Cos it cant be done. (oh, and more players wont help, cos the number of station guards increases if there are more players about)

A weekly "Assault the Nemesis" event might be good.

Itani will have less systems to go through than the Serco, unless we get a bit of a head start first

Hmmm.... I suppose we could petition a dev to temporarily change the respawn rates of Station Guards and Marshalls. Actually, IMO, it wouldn't be a bad thing if the change was permanent, but.... =D

Would be neato. However, yeah, yoda's right, and as far as pushing the devs to change respawn of SF for a limited time, well, I dunno. I'd rather see a functional new client. But I like the idea a lot.

Yeah, they should respawn every 10 minutes, maybe even five. But NOT instantly. So besides the obvious killjoy, does it sound good?

I liked the alpha version where you would space out the station defs and when you kill them, it took them a while to respawn etc, but that was only good for ctf... dunno about this tho

SF spawn is the ONLY bad thing in this Idea
/me votes for devs change it to spawn every 10 minutes...
