This is an issue that.....Needs to be resolved,SKV is being an ass...ITAN allowed EP to pirate TGFT members while he was in game,(unfortanetly rumor has it that he is back). Also,ONE is an ass as well.

2)Apparently everyone says this "TGFT sucks with combat" also a quote from EP "TGFT and combat don't mix well" (I somewhat agree with this about 45%.)
3)Why waste your time with this guild they're just traders!!!!!(referring to certain nationlist players and guilds)

Let me say it again,THEY JUST A GUILD OF NICE TRADERS!!!!!!!!!!!! And,if they suck at combat why even try to go to war with them? It makes no sense again waste of time. Also don't come with me with same BS like "they attacked us",LIES. Also SKV,there are some new serco nationalist guilds out there go mess with them... So, I humbly suggest that certain nationlist guilds make a treaty and give them the station acess they wanted,thank you

so we might just aswell correct some facts

- skv and one are not all asses. only a few players seem to suffer from mental issues
- ep was always a pirate. yarr. how else would he get his pks back??
- TGFT is not usually a nice guild. no guild in VO is usually nice. they may be nice to their own members!
- not all their pilots suck. they may have lost their best pilot but some of them are actually capable. they just never get into a fighter... so that only their newbs are left to be shot
- the reason that serco/itani nationalists do this cause it is fun to shoot helpless targets
- its also fun to deny station access cause it makes you feel strong and manly

First while I do not have all the details of the issues I do know for a FACT that Ecka & kennyb do nothing but fly around and shoot people.

Also I'm sure if TGFT got off their pocket book and payed for access like everyone else does they would have access. If you are so awesomely great at trading and making money it should be easy to recoup the payments in no time.

Also I'm pretty sure the whole spying plug in thing really hurt your credibility.

I like most TGFT members I meet. Why should they sufffer due to upper management not removing problem players from the guild and proving you are only about trade by offering payment for station access to those that do the work to take them.

Once upon a time, about 2 years ago in RL

TGFT led this huge campaign to deny station access to Itan, we fought back and forth like always, but they generally made it a POTA to have station access and get anything done. Claiming they were "keeping the stations free for traders"... I might be holding a grudge.

Couple that with the fact that now they align themselves with ONE, our longtime rivals to take stations...

SKV declared war on TGFT after SKV was placed on KOS by TGFT with zero effort in diplomacy. This was after an attack on a TGFT member by SKV due to having Itani Hate standing (which is a target-able offence under SKV policies).

As far as I (EP) am concerned, I was randomly targeted by TGFT both in combat and via chat-muting methods, while we (TGFT-Itan) had an active Non-Aggression Pact (NAP). I subsequently placed TGFT on a personal KOS, with no involvement by Itan.

ONE and RED having a war with you was also your own doing. Back in 2011-2012, when I was in TGFT, TGFT didn't comply to neutral standings for a neutral guild, and therefore RED declared war, and ONE joined.

Right. Tell me then why this kind of shit keeps happening then, if you're "just a bunch of nice traders".

Cron-Wo Bashios, there are several reasons people besides pirates shoot at TGFT. Part of it is that despite their occasional claims, they are not actually friendly neutral traders. What they actually are is a gruff and corrupt corporation out to make a buck with no concern for anybody but themselves. There's nothing wrong with that, of course, but it does mean that sometimes they butt heads with other groups, and since they tend to take an "our way or the highway" stance, they end up getting themselves into fights. Apparently they don't bother communicating this to their noobs, so then we end up with people like you who are confused about what's happening, ranting about how awesome TGFT is and not understanding why people are shooting them.

Another reason people are hostile toward TGFT is the people and behaviors they accept and then blindly defend. Spying via plugins and bots, abusing vote-mute, stat inflation, excessive nation changes, bullying newbie guilds...

TGFT are not the only group to do those sorts of things, of course. The difference is that most others don't object to conflict. If somebody decides to attack SKV for being dicks, SKV don't start bitching and moaning about it; they gear up and fight back. And to be fair, most of the TGFT core members are no different... but again, they don't communicate this to the peons like you. Their core members mostly either ignore accusations, reply like drunken teenagers, or fight back; it's usually only the noobs who start ranting in TGFT's defense.

Since i started playing VO, TGFT always attacks stations with ITAN. Even last week we saw TGFT attacking a ONE controlled station with ITAN. True neutral guilds don't attack stations. You fight with our enemies against us, you're going to have a bad time. What did you expect?

I would suggest that VO has a history, particularly for guilds that have been around for many years. Depending on which side of that history a player comes in on, it affects the bias and perceptions they have towards themselves and the rest of the game. Despite what I accept to be it's sins, I choose to remain TGFT because of my observations over time as a TGFT member. I am biased that the positive outweighs the negative and that the negatives often but not always have a cause which prompted the 'offending' behavior.

So, as you can see from the other repsonses, VO does not exist in a vacuum, but has the afore mentioned history. Players have complaints both real and imagined which they invest towards adding conflict to the game. It's really no different than dealing with assorted personalities in the real world, except that in the real world using guns is frowned upon.

What can be done away with imo, is the excessive personalization and beyond the scope of role play drama that typically goes along with these conflicts.

Only extremists would hold such restrictive definitions of what "neutral" means. Saying they aren't neutral because they take stations from those refusing them access is unreasonable. The consistent painting of TGFT as "not neutral" is a poorly veiled effort to pull them into a conflict they'd prefer to not be in.

And finally, of course almost the entirety of Kierky's response is a tired misrepresentation of reality, and has been debunked repeatedly. Thus, a general rejection is all that's necessary.

TGFT made themselves an easy target by having controversy, whether it was that bad or not, is irrelevant. They had controversy after controversy, and took no efforts the appease the people they offended.

At the same time, the people that they offended are not traders. They are soldiers. Soldiers like the fight.

TGFT didn't apologize out of pride and self-righteousness. Understandable for a guild with such history as TGFT.

The battle-hardened soldiers that were offended by TGFT's actions took this opportunity to have a war. Because you know, why wouldn't they? They are fucking soldiers!

If TGFT leadership was really worried about this conflict they would have put a quick end to it. They did not. This shows me that they either thought it would fade away or they were welcoming the conflict.

Both are equally likely responses from TGFT, in my opinion.

The conflict did not fade. TGFT is losing, but have not been destroyed, as they didn't really have an army to destroy from the beginning.

The war continues because of the expected and welcomed sense of pride that ALL soldiers should have, and the irrational and anti-productive sense of pride that TGFT has in its combat ability as a guild.

While they sort all that shit out, contact your local TRI arms and parts dealer to get the market's top-of-the-line modules.

Okay, so you want to trade and manufacture in peace like a neutral trader should.

There is a very simple and easy solution to your predicament: quit TGFT and join a guild that has a solid reputation for peacefulness and genuine neutrality, such as TRI.

Sorry kiddo, the TGFT leadership has decided that TGFT must remain in war, otherwise they would have made different decisions leading to a different outcome.

Now you must decide what is best for yourself, not TGFT.

There should be a talk show where greenwall explains why TGFT should get their way all the time on everything.
