No, you have it all wrong. Space Cowese is much more subtle than that. The moo's are more suggestions than actual words. Sample:
(Cow 1 just logged on)
Cow 1: Moo. (hi)
Cow 2: MoOoOoOoOoOoOoOo! (YO DAWG, WASSUP?!)
Cow1: M0o0o0o0o0o0o0o0o0o0o0o0o0o0o0! (hello to you, too friend!)

(play resumes, Cow 2 kills Cow 1)
Cow 1: moo? (disbelief)
Cow 2: Moo. (either "sorry" or "haha, sucker" depending on context)
Cow 1: MOOOOOOOOOOOO! (pissed regardless)
Cow 1: moo (just got owned again)

See, it's contextual and full of nuance. I've studied space cows on the side for a long, long time.
