well a vulture flying person is a guy, because anybody flying a vulture has to be a guy... no girl would lower themselves to fly something with a name relative to a carcass eating bird.

a hog is more of a guy ship, however i think that most of the girls use it compared to anything else.

a valk is a girls ship, however every pilot on the Itani nation seems to fly it... and to my knowledge... no girls happen to be on the Itani anymore.

EC-88 (bus) is a guy... just cause a guy would the kind of person to find himself stuck in it for more than 3 weeks (glances around)

lets see... the atlas is self-explanatory

wraith is more of a uni-sex machine as a wraith sounds neither male noe female.

centurion... sounds male from the movie gladiator...

centaur... is unisex

maud is more of a male because it looks like a pizza cutter and thats about as high of a job a guy can get (in the US) and not get fired or thought about being fired the 1st day on the job. however most of the females use it

rag... now this although it sounds (by the shovenist pig players) like a female ship... however it is a guy ship... and very fun to kill

... did i miss any?

... the prom... now this is a female ship, sorry Dave, but the fact is that a female will care more about a prom than a guy. guys use this as well... but very few, sorry again Dave.

think that is complete...

yeah im babbling about nothing so dont listen to me...

/me goes to hide in the corner muttering about wibbles and funny looking unibrowed people...

All the ships are "female" ships, because the word you are supposed refer to with is 'she'. (altough I use 'it', but that's a different story).
May 18, 2004 harvestmouse link
hehe. vult is female ship; personal opinion. Aeternalis, what do you prefer to fly?

and don't say that to Dave, io! :D

RelayeR = sugar & spice & everything nice...

RelayeR's rl player = ...

Hmm. So should be use the gender neutral personal pronouns?
Re, Res, and Erm.

Re = He/She
Re's = His/Her's
Erm = Him/Her.

They are actual words, they were invented some time in the 60's. Never really caught on though.

You barely need personal pronouns tough, some smart use of grammar can easily replace them. You could also just use the *gasp* name of the subject you are talking about. However, in English, removing "you" is rather difficult, because it's used in sentences where it doesn't really serve as a pronoun, it's just used because 'it's supposed to be there', for example: "You shouldn't do that!", you can't replace "you" with anything. Nevertheless the other pronouns can easily be worked around.

IO, youre fired.

Magus, any female is welcome to join but the lower demographic in the game generates a lack of females to male ratio that makes it appear we discriminate against female pilots!

(Okay that was totally pointless and filled with stuff I barely understood but yeah)

Bus: Only a male would be dumb enough to find himself in one of these

Centurion: The Roman leader of a military unit, thus, primarily a male machine

Hog: Unisex, although more females seem to favor this machine

Wraith: The gentle curves, the large hold, the relative fighting ability, unisex

Vulture: More male, heavier combat-class craft than trader, men more inclined to seek and engage in heavy combat

Atlas: Unisex

Ragnorok: Male primarily, useful for heavy combat although a small number of females use these for mobile transports

Centuar: Unisex, although females spend more time per capita inside them since females are vastly more likely to trade than switch to a combat craft

Prometheus: Male, it's a weapons platform, it's meant for the end all be all of combat...nothing more, nothing less

Valkyrie: Female, it's fast, agile, and can avoid combat

Marauder: Unisex, see Centaur

Granted, these dont take into account the individual personality or national view but just the psychological state of the male and female minds and which side, trade or combat, appeals to that sex.

"men more inclined to seek and engage in heavy combat"

-Bull. Throughout history women have just been too busy being in perpetual pregnancy to get into fights. That doesn't mean they won't if they need to. Google for Boudicca.

You are confused about 'you' Sheean.

'"You" shouldn't do that.'

You is plural in this case type and incorrectly used here. It could be replaced with 'people' or 'persons'. The correct way to state the intent of the original sentence is:

One shouldn't do that.

Or, actually use a proper noun.

D'oh.
UncleDave's example is better: "IO, you're fired."

I think you are confused. Kate Blade is not sadistic cousin, they are two seperate people.
May 25, 2004 aeternalis link
I'm pretty sure Kayura is female.

I thought Kate Blade was... hm. Maybe I just misunderstood something.

>hehe. vult is female ship; personal opinion.
>Aeternalis, what do you prefer to fly?

I fly a vult. Except I've been both busy and _extremely_ lazy ever since the reset, and I have yet to get it back.

danielky, you misspelled my name up there.
