I played since Vendetta Test 2.4.7 or around there.

I'd say the first thing I did was warp into the deathmatch sector, see a few Penny-Arcade fans. I noticed that if you touched an asteroid, you'd be quickly and greatly damaged. I also noticed it didn't have very good clipping, so I turboed right into an asteroid and penetrated the surface of it. Ended flying within in... too bad there weren't any powerups in asteroids.

3.1.2 for me

the devs were so bonkers then that the HUD logo for the bus was a centurion and rockets were cloaked

! Lots of activity on this thread!

Well, I cannot remember how long ago I joined. I would have to ask Waylon when the first time we tested the game over at my office was. It was well before the 9 sector universe. In fact I am pretty sure there was only one sector and no warping the first time we tested Vendetta over at my place. My office was one of the first places out side of Guild Software that the game was tested, with the exception of a few of the other dev's friends. My place is only a few minutes away from GS's current office, and only a few minutes away from the basement it was run out of before that...

I have known most of the devs for a while, in some cases since before the company was started and this game was just a cool idea they where talking about. I let them borrow various AGP boards in the earlier days, so they could test their graphics engine on a wider variety of gear. I have helped test at various stages on and off for the entire time the game has been in development. How ever I cannot claim to have logged as much time on here as many of you other vets. I would come and go a lot, checking out the game when major changes occurred. Oh, any one here remember way back when John put that winnebago in the game? That was always my favorite ship! heh.

It's really cool to see so many people enjoying the game now! These guys have worked really hard and have accomplished a great deal in the time they have been working on this. And the amount of new ideas and feedback coming in from all you new users is very encouraging. It's good to know that there will be a decent user base before the games release, that will help get the ball rolling. I cannot wait to see how this game evolves, I am sure it will kick ass!!

Nice screenies. You should make those last n00k shots in s9 into an animated gif :D.

I have a couple GB's of sceenies... They aren't all good, but I don't want to go through them all looking for good ones :P.
