A new vendetta role play channel is registered on IRC. Channel is at slashnet.

Im not a fan of IRC, or anything related to real-time chat :P.

the role playing isnt really on irc, the channel is just for schedules on up coming role plays and other normal stuff.

There's already one. #vendetta-makchuga <-tis a bar, and if you ever visited the EVN boards, you'd know the reference.

Isn't that channel dead though?

Only because nobody uses it for that anymore. Now it's more of a channel for private conversations between 3 or more people.

Virtually no one. Those who try are usually verbally assalted by the 1337 power players as being pompous, elitist snobs. Then the 1337 ones proceed to show the role-players how to win the game, which usually involves the repeated shedding of the role-players' virtual blood until they finally log off in not so virtual disgust.

Beware!!!! B0N3D00D lives!

Um, that sounds harsh to me. Everyone should have a right to role play.hmm lets see...who is smart enough to role play if they want to? Virtually few but at least there are.

I beta tested OU prior to it's release. I actually subscribed to the game, though not upon it's inital release given that I was just so disgusted with the calibar of players I met in the beta. When OU-Renaissance came out (for $10.00 and a free month!), I joined on. Lasted about 2 months. I was one of those who made stabs at roll-playing it. My results were pretty much as you see in those "B0N3D00D & pLaTeDeWd" comic strips.
