PINE: Pine Is Not ELITBank

Mar 01, 2005 Shapenaji link
So I had this idea regarding the ELIT bank, that one of the nicest features for it is leaving money for someone who isn't on.

Well, then I started thinking about the Guild MOTD, that it let guilds have a cohesiveness and purpose that they couldn't have unless everyone was on all the time.

then I combined them. How bout a mail client? Set up under the same conditions as the ELIT bank. It stores messages for players, and then when they log on, they can check them.

This doesn't seem to be too difficult in the way of coding.

EDIT: I was just thinkin, this is really more of a suggestion, would the FM mind movin to that forum?

Just a quick note, the /buddy command does allow you to send messages to any of your buddies, even if they're offline.

Beolach, I believe it was capped at 1 message for the same buddy though.

So unless shape has an idea to make unlimited messaging possible, he would just create the same service again(and double the actual amount of notes sendable)

cheers

Ah, I found it:

No wonder that sounded so familiar and mail-like.

Edit: I'll gladly add this feature to ELIT Bank, or another bot if someone forks out the $10.00/month for it. Shape's right, it's not that much effort to code.

Seems to me one use for the ELIT Bank is so that one alter can pay another.

Thtas what I use it for waleran. I use my trader to pay for my fighter.

Trader trades and fighter fights. Trader pays for both. Poor guy. Hes rich so he doesnt care.
