Today apple updates the imac to 1.25 ghz and discontinued 15 and 30 gb ipods.

Also, itunes music store just hit 10 million songs sold, and thats just to the mac\osx\america market.

What we need now is a firewire to IDE converter. Then we really can plug in 200GB harddrives to an iPod (after some hax0rs get a hold on the software).

Good luck stuffing a 3.5" hard drive in an iPod... I believe the new ones use 1.8" drives...

a 40 gb ipod is already inefficient IMO. what kind of persons has 40 GB of mp3? even if it's 192 kBps, and everything set to highest, nicest and best?

heh.. my dad has a 10 gig ipod, 1700+ songs (4 days worth). However, i believe i forgot to set the iTunes importer to import the songs as MP3s for him...
