That said, it is a sweet ride. I even had it fitted with a sound system and GPS for a while (PC speakers plugged into an iPhone, mounted on the "dash" showing google maps). The only thing it really needs is suspension. Without the ability to stand up and take the bumps with your knees, a road that is moderately bumpy for an upright bike is VERY bumpy in this. If I make a MkII, it will be fully suspended for this reason.

Rin, the first version of the shell looked even more like a shoe. A loafer, to be precise. Rather than the lobster-shell curve at the front, it had a flatter top and the sides folded down around the front. I'll see if I have any pics, but don't hold your breath waiting for them, they'll be on an external HDD someplace, most likely, if they exist at all.

Lector, mostly, all I got asked was "What'd that cost?" or "What kinda motor does it have?". The first was answered "About $200 in new parts, and a few old bikes from the tip". The second was answered with simply "me". Mostly, I just got surprised or confused looks. Surprised looks from motorists, and confused looks from other cyclists on expensive road bikes as I zoomed past them.
