I just noticed.... I was warping from 8 to 5, and a 250 bot shot me in the wormhole, and my screen blooded out (flashed red) every time an ion hit me, but I took no damage...

This also happened to me flying from s18 to s17

I tested it a little, it happens regardless of who shoots me and what wormhole I use.

I thought it was natural that you couldn't take damage when warping. For example, when a group of people shoot a load of flares at a pirate who is warping, the pirate gets flipped around like crazy (and the shooter hears the beeps) but he takes absolutely no damage.

now, if you just warped into another sector, you can take damage but you can't shoot at all for a length of time.

No, the problem is that your screen shouldn't be blinking red when you are invulnerable.

Also, when I hit a warping ship, I hear the damage "beeps."

It has been doing this for me since a1 "accidently" did something that caused him to say "Ooops" in another thread...

Well, you know, I did accidently warp into sector 0...

Heck camps, i was immune to dev powers in 0, I had to kill myself:P. Anwyway, perhaps Alkon is planning to insert damage while warping? It would be great,(with a suffecient decrease in warping time)

I noticed this too.. Assumed the code that stops the screen flashing during jump has been messed with, as you don't take any damage...

Are you serious! They ADDED the invulnerabilty a while back because certain players would waste anything jumping through particular wormholes...

/me wonders what kind of asshole would do such an evil thing ;-)

I think everybody sees it. If it's in the code, it's a pretty safe bet to make.
