Name Spoofing
EDIT: nevermind this, I should have done my research--this type of bug has been fixed, as people can no longer create names beginning with "<".
ORIGINAL POST:
From general chat.
Two-word names can be spoofed by registering a name with only part of the number plus a "<" in front.
Example 1.1:
name: "<Serco"
what the spoofer types: "/me Fighter 1> hahahaha I really suck, omg SF1 is so dumb"
What appears: "<Serco Fighter 1> hahahaha I really suck, omg SF1 is so dumb""
One-word names can also be spoofed by encasing the person's names with "<" and ">":
Example 1.2
name: "<Arolte>"
what the spoofer writes: "/me wtf I'm a lamer"
what appears: "<Arolte> wtf I'm a lamer"
Proposed solutions:
Put a tab indention when people use the /me command, equivalent to the tab already used when text wraps.

Yes we are well aware of this. The whole chat system suck.
No, it doesn't Ray. It needs some work but it doesn't suck.
Well, it is up for a redo, but recent patches (3 lines instead of 2 or 1, nation colors, fixes) have helped a bit. The IRC model is a good one, and perhaps permanent channels will be added in the fyuchah!
