This, im guessing has probably been reported numerous times, but what the hell, i'll do it just incase it hasnt =)

So, you're in a mission, you cant be bothered to finish it because your tea is ready/you want to head down the pub/you cant keep your eyes open because you've been playing for 36hrs straight. Trouble is, aborting a mission gives you a faction penalty etc.

No problem, just quit the game.

No penalty, no loss of dough, jeeze, you even get to keep the cargo to sell on as you wish, aint that nice of your former employer! =)

As i said, probably reported, still, its a nice way of gaining a couple of grandos here or there (those datapads are worth a fair bit, stockpile them for the "harsher" days).

Have you actually tested this? The mission is *supposed* to give you the same penalty when you log off as when you abort. (obviously it can't send you a message saying your standing decreased, but the change should be recorded.)

Vlad, it does'nt....

i was in the middle of a mission for NS2 (i had +26pnts with them before logoff) to get so scrap mettal, and due to the fact that i could'nt collect it (can't kill the bots....they wont die) i logged off and on...it stayed on +26pnts

Hmm. Aborting the scrap metal mission should give you a very minor penalty, might not even register on your character screen. If you abort a mission where they actually GIVE you cargo to take somewhere else, you'll get a larger penalty.

Heh, I guess I could just test it myself... :)

Sorry to dissapoint you vlad, but it was like that since the last version, for me atlist...i can go check if you like...i'll let you know the moment i find out.

/edit: you were right, it does lower the score...guess i missed it last time when i checked:)
