When you go to buy a ship you know the higher the number, the better the ship but for some ships you can't see why it is better. Ray told me that the engines are different but I don't see that info on the ship info screen.

The color of the tip of the engines in the icons displayed changes by three shades. Are you blind? :P

right now the different engine pics aren't up yet so all the engins looks the same the break down is as follows

regular ship:free engine
ship II: light engine
ship III: Medium engine
ship IV: heavy engine

of course you can fill in the ship name to whatever, vult, hog, rag,etc. however if i am wrong about it please correct me because i am not sure about the first ship is free or light, because i know the VI is the best in the line, dunno if it because of the engine(or both the III and VI have the heavy) and its lightness(for vults alteast)

it changes from ship to ship Darth. For example the normal Vult comes with a med engine...

I assume that "soon" there will be a way to see engine stats, since new people won't be able to remember them just by color or top speed.

Where is the world is a newbie like me suppoed to learn that? I'll go check. Three shades of red maybe... hmmm.. Nope. The engines do not change color. Maybe in an earlier version they were interchangable but right now they come with the ship.

I think you should advertise what kind of engine I'll be getting with the extra money.

Yeah, obviously it's pretty hard to tell what's going on. The icon-with-four-differently-colored-pixels thing is Dumb. I, um, won't be implementing this myself but I will advocate it to someone else who might!

There are also different versions of ships with the same engine but less mass, though that difference is displayed if I remember. There are probably engines with the same icon, but with different stats, too.

Actaully, all the icons are the free-engine icon. It's broken. I knew there was something I had been meaning to bugreport!

You know I've been trying to submit my bug reports verbally but Ray insists that I follow proper protocol and submit bug reports online. :)

That way he doesn't have to write it down.
