It's been improved... but there are still some problems.
When your turboing towards a target which is not turboing it appears that your auto aim just turns off... shooting your weapons just straight forwards. This is significantly better than what happened before where your weapons all shot at a point 1m in front of your nose, and then inevitably just passed each other and went to the sides. So now you can hit a target that's standing still, but unless you're aiming exactly at someone you'll miss.
