If you fire a single rocket at a station, you get a warning message when you first fire it, saying to cease fire immediately. However, when the rocket hits the station, you then become KoS.

probably because the blast damage counts as an additional "shot" when it detonates. On another note, hitting a station with a rocket SHOULD cause you to become KOS.

On the other hand hitting a station with an energy weapon should also cause you to become KOS.
