have to wait longer then 2 minutes for download kiknda lose interest in playing the game i understand this is a beta version but should try to fix this prob. ppl prolly wont wait
Right, they'll just slap down $30USD, then try to log on, wait longer than 10 seconds and quit, never to return.
It's a little unrealistic to think that loading a sector full of roids and bots, along with 30+ players and a complicated station model, would be instant. Still, 2 minutes is an extreme, and it's certainly not the norm. I've never seen load times that long that weren't caused by a server hiccup.
So rather than assuming all load times are what you are getting, let's try to find the problem you're experiencing.
There are too many threads in the forums that say "Fix this now or the game will flop." The devs know what needs to happen for the game to be successful. So try to be a little more helpful than "ppl prolly wont wait." Give your computer specs, OS, time it occured, etc.

That definitely sounds like a bug, astronamus. I've never had a load time that long. What kind of hardware/software/modem are you using?

Waiting 2 minutes to download an update? Or logging in?
If you have to wait more than 2 minutes to download the update, that only happens when we release an update. There's nothing we can do about it.
If you mean logging in, then there's not a whole lot we could do about that either.
