Settings and "smarts"
Agh.
In Video, if you choose settings that match the "High Quality" (800x600, high quality textures and so on and so on) it will auto-expand this to just that mode.
In this process it will also reset your LOD settings, turn on High res backgrounds, even if you play without a background, Turn on Space Junk, even if it was turned off , and reset your frequency from 85 Hz to 120Hz -interlaced- (56Hz .... )

Ah, hmm. My resolution picker doesn't know whether the mode is interlaced.. My recommendation is to remove it from your X config if you don't want to see it. :P
I don't .have. it in my modeline in X
all my Modelines are grabbed from the X servers probing of the monitor combined with the graphicscards capabilities. If you want, I can send you a copy of my config.

Ah, right, they changed how modelines work. Hmm, I guess I'll just have it match the mode closest to 70Hz or so.
But yeah, that's pretty funny if it changes the space junk and backround settings.

heres the fun part.
move the list longest to the left, and you have a 1600x1200, ... 800x600@85.. all cool. Then it hits 640x480, and starts over again from the top, this time with interlaced or lower frequency modelines.
