Hey guys, I know you're working on a lot of bugs lately. and I sent a bug report off. But I preordered on wednesday of last week, got my key on friday, and used it, on the same day. I went through the entire prompt of selecting the account. And it TOLD me that I was now pre-order status. With this belief in hand, I got to work leveling yesterday. got up to 3/5/2/2 on the edge of 4/5/3/2. (I just wanted to level enough so that I could effectively PvP)

Flash-forward to today, I log on and my account is reset! ARGHH!

I went into billing options right now and checked and my account was listed as "unpaid". What's up with this?! I used my key before. And I went through the exact same series of motions today, to set up my preorder status again.

PLEASE tell me there's something you can do, cuz that was a fair chunk of my sunday, and I'm just not going to play for the next week or so, if all I can do is level.

Were you at 0/0/0/0 which gave you the belief that the reset had occured before you leveled?

I was at 0/0/0/0 when I logged on yesterday, I was reset along with everybody else, which was fine, and we talked about it online.

This morning, I checked, and I was at 0/0/0/0 again

As far as I know, everybody else who was preordered kept their level status from yesterday

Correct, I kept mine and by the looks of it a lot of others are fine too.

Are you sure the key worked? It said pre-order status in your account info, but in billing did it say anything like you are paid through 2005-1-1

I never actually checked my billing status, probably should have, since it told me that my status was already pre-ordered.

This is beginning to look like I'm just going to have to start leveling all over again... sigh. This is gonna take forever.

Is there no way that the devs can retrieve that progress?

They might be able to, but I dont see them doing it unless you have evidence you had the levels. Someone could just say they leveled up to 8/8/8/8 when they really hadnt.

You never know though, maybe they have logs or something.

Shapenaji, according to the database, you used your pre-order key eight minutes before you posted that message. However, the database was down on Friday while we moved some servers, so your key entry was probably never recorded. Doh. I should have put the website into a 'maintenance mode', and I didn't, and now we have this problem. Crap.

Heya, ya, I used it again after I made the post. Once I realized that it had my account down as unpaid.

As far as misrepresentin my levels, I saw a number of people ingame, and was talking a bit with Eldrad. I also took out 2 cargo transports with my vult mk III with dual tachs + FC so that kinda backs it up. Though I spose I could still be making it up.
