When attempting to play the game I've encountered several issues. Three times after logging in the graphics have started fine but degraded to some weird disco-like light arrays. Twice the game has frozen and crashed XP home to the blue screen and then off. Twice the game has just rebooted my computer. The crashed seem related to either entering/leaving a station or this last time, jumping.

I'm using the latest geforce nvidia drivers. I've reinstalled them. I've redownloaded and reinstalled the game.

assistance in getting any further with this would be appreciated =)

Check this thread. Those sound like some pretty weird things happening. Make sure your ram is good, and you aren't having heat problems.
