Now that collectors mine their widgets (and thus don't drop scrap), how is one supposed to complete the Scrap Metal mission?

Dentek and Artemis Collectors that haven't mined yet still drop scrap. Best thing is to look for those bots which are part of an escort they always drop it.

EDIT:Could have been concidence. I once got attacked by a dentek in a storm which dropped scrap. Maybe there might be a good place to look too.

Dentek collectors that are ESCORTING a transport ship drop scrap metal for me.

Aah. I just randomly flew around and shot a dozen or so, and found that they did not have scrap. I'll have to look for some that haven't mined.
