the error log and the Chat box need to be seperated.
lots of times i'll be talking to someone and the Octree thing will scroll alot, or when you enter a sector it still takes up what should be chat space.
no shure where the error things could be shown in the screeen, but the "entering sector X" could be centered on the screen since its just a reminder of where your going. maybe just add it to the splash screen when switching sectors, like put it under the little planet.
OR even make a different splash screen for each sector, like have a "design a splash screen contest" and get the winners from it as the new splash screen.

anyways, its just an idea
