I'm sure missions at the space station have been talked about, I'm not sure what thread.
Anyways...
Fighters should be able to sign up for noob patrol. Basically, a fighter gets linked to a group of noobs making profitable runs. A portion of the profits go to the fighter.
The station needs 3 units of widget A... You will be escorted to this location where widget A is sitting. You will then be escorted back. Since Widget A is locked in an impenetrable safe, you cannot take it anywhere else. Payment is 10,000 credits, but each of your 3 escorts will get 1500c's.
Icarus's mama called, she said he deserves a spanking, give it to him and return to her house for a 10,000 reward above the bounty.
We have learned of a secret vehicle in development at nation B. Take this stolen nation B bus to their homeworld, dock, and steal the vehicle. While you are in it, all nation B people will be notified of your treachery. Price for a successful return is 50,000c's. Success will add you to our list of spies, which will enable you for further secret missions.
We have learned of an informant willing to give up nation C's list of spies. Meet him in sector 12 and return here. Reward is 60,000c's
I need a ride to the starbase in sector 13 immediately, the guy says as he looks over his shoulder, and drinks his pangalactic gargleblaster hurriedly. I will pay you 2 million credits to get me there safely.
We have learned of a traitor in our midst. He is paying an unknown pilot a very large sum of money to take him to sector 13, where he will disclose the list of spies. Use this life signs scanner to determine what ship he is in and destroy it. Payment is 1 million credit. Capturing the traitor, and replacing him and his list with fakes will result in 2 million credits.
The president of the universe has asked you to transport him to the homeworld of nation D for a diplomatic meeting. While you will not be able to purchase anything, you might be able to schedule a diplomatic meeting to open Nation D's docking bays permanently for you. Payment is 10,000c's with a 50/50 chance of opening the bays to you.
Your mama called, she said to be home by 6 for dinner, otherwise you'll be grounded to a bus in sector 1 for 10 minutes.
The boy whispered "I'd like to fly through the celestial falls of 18 before I die" The grant-a-request foundation is willing to pay your 5,000 credits to make this happen. (When you return, there is a 25% chance another 5,000 is added to the total.)
There has been a complaint of bot problems in sector 15. Clean them up and we'll pay you 1 million, divisible by the number of pilots taking this mission.
The guy at the bar motions you to take a walk with him. "You never know who is listening in those places." "I need you to make the kessel run, payment is 10 million credits." - You know that you'd never be officially allowed into a civilized starbase again, but for that money you'd consider shooting your own mother, especially after that grounding. Of course, you can always get a fake bio-sig...
