The TPG Raptor is one of the best looking ships in the game. But for the most part, it is utterly useless. Sure it has the built in storm range extender, but that item alone should not dictate its reason for existence. TPG is the largest corporation in the game, so surely their scientists and engineers can do better than what we have seen.

Bump the max speed of the Prototype to 68 m/s and Mk II to 65m/s . Drop the cargo to 2. On the prototype, reduce the armor to 6000 and increase the thrust so the term "Bat Out Of Hell" applies to it. I imagine the prototype is showing off what can be done if money and pilot safety is no object. The MkII is more of a production version that backs off from some of the crazy ideas that the designers had.

And give these two ships a radar/electronics package that can cut through the fog and dust of sectors like Latos M7, and Dau K-10. This would give the ship a nice niche.

-1 The purpose of the raptor is part of future game design. The UDV has already been buffed outside that scope.

That would be kinda cool. I especially like the idea of the prototype being a throw caution to the wind kinda ship. Take that one step further though, 5% chance of it blowing up on inter system warp. Might also want to run the prototype's armor down to 5000. Fast, fragile, can can explode without warning, what more could you ask for?

Or give it 225 ms turbo

Let's give it 500 ms Turbo and special TPG Nuts that shoot at 435 ms/s, with of course a built in IHDPC and 10 extra large weapon slots.

+1 to any positive modifications if those two ships are made UIT exclusive.

+1 to buff the Raptor MkI and MkII

making the raptor more unique would be cool; im not sure if these should be UIT exclusive, but seeing as I run UIT charecters anyways I wouldnt be affected. I feel they currently are just-above-average-girth raptors atm, and could use something special beyond "some spiffy storm radar"
