Repair Beams

Similar to mining beams but can target players at around 50m and uses energy to repair a ship.
Both available for light and heavy ports.

+Faster repair than normal repair modules
+No ammo, but consumes energy

-Range heavily decreased compared to the normal repair modules

This should be slower than the ammo based modules, not faster. Otherwise I like it.

So basically its a charged cannon that dies repair instead of damage.

@Wash, thats how current repair modules work, like the charged cannon, first you charge and then you fire. This would work like mining beams but on people.

@Pizzasgood, why should it be slower if the range is only 50m and the current ones, like the repair turret, which already has infinite ammo by the way, have a range of 1000m to 1500m. I'm not sure about the exact number but i tested it some time and it was huge.

Currently they charge nanite ammo to repair. Charging straight repair energy would be better than a constant beam

It should be slower because being ammo-less is a big deal, and the 50m range isn't enough of a restriction to balance it against the ammo-based repair modules.

Repair turret stats are irrelevant, as this is not a turret.

So technically we are actually "repairing ourselves" by simply target your damaged ship and press the trigger button, only if you have your Repair Beams equipped. So we don't need to go to the station to repair our own ship anymore. Sounds like a Free Repairs to me.

I don't think anybody is asking to be able to shoot themselves with this.
