Turret bot temporarily removal

ItsI when they jump out of their dent in a chase hound and sit within range of their capital ship on the wh making it impossible to kill them. I don't think you understand that there is a limit to how far weaponry can help in these situations. I can understand "might" but the people who are don't seem to care If they get caught. DeathBlossom1-4 and Fisherman1-4 etc. This Is a matter of one person shutting down a entire sector wh to the other of the galaxy without having to fly around. If that isn't "disruptive gameplay" or whatever then I have no idea what is.

Just deshield their capships, and then kill them. Stack stingrays, they keep your ship more maneuverable so you can stack and dodge cap swarms. If there are two enemy capships there, use one dent's capswarms to deshield the other. Drop mines around their docks so if they undock, they get blasted.

PCBs on a lightship such as rev c, will allow you do do spirals around a capship while pcbing it, while dodging the swarms.

Get a 3-4 of goliaths together and equip caprails to the upper or lower turret ports. Have gunners fire the caprails at the dents rom 4k out and deshield and kill the dents.

Just a few ideas on how to clear enemy dents from a WH.

Also, I don't know if you know this IL, but any dent with 4 gunners (including /gunner invited gunners) is completely full. Other than the dent owner, no one can dock. A dent fitted like this is useless as a reload platform. So take this info and find a way to use it against enemy dents.

Ty for the info float, and maybe certain players shouldn't be throwing tantrums and abusing the system because they don't get their way, eh wash? Those players really do their absolute best to ruin b8 pews. Wouldn't you agree?

There are like 7600 sectors, and you have to have your "pews" in that specific one? Who cares?

Would it be okay with you if they had actual people playing on those turrets? Or if I had released automated turret control?

Would you still call it "disruptive gameplay"?

Because it would be just as feasible, and there would be no question about the "legitimacy" of the gameplay at that point. It's a PvP game, with a persistent open world, where people can fly into un-aligned space and shoot other players. That's not the same thing as an RoC violation for "disruptive gameplay".

Look.. I'll try and break it down for you:

CAPSHIPS ARE A THING - They're a giant pain in the ass to build, and they do inherently confer strong advantages. Like, being able to repair and re-arm. Or, shields. Or turrets, which may or may not be manned or (eventually) automated.

I'm fine with tweaking how capships work, how turrets and their weapons work, how repairing and re-arming works, and so on.

But, after spending a lot of time trying to patiently respond on this thread, it seems to be converging down to "other players are doing things I don't like, and I want you to ban them!".

I've already answered that. Repeatedly.

If future threads crop up that have some value, like continuing the discussion of weapon or content tweaks to mitigate problems, I may be more interested. But, right now, this seems like a waste of my time.
