While I'm patrolling making vo safe from the undesirables that fly unsafe ships, it would me nice to know where my dent is while keeping vo safe. How difficult would it be to send capship owners jumping updates and spots so I know how safe the dent is? Thanks for so much fun over the decade plus I've played vo.

While making a group is a usable workaround, I think the original suggestion of either a command to show location, or a permanent UI element that shows your capship location, is a reasonable feature request.

Might be best if this were considered a change to the inventory system partially; suppose the by-type sort method were changed so "actively deployed" vessels are displayed above everything else, and "expanding" these elements would give you their full status: health/shield, location, current 'activity' (parked, attacking, etc), etc...

+1 luxen and we should see that in our console for are active launched ships.

An implementation of this has been shipped tonight, 1.8.615:

- Player's remote capship location and health are now displayed directly on the HUD. The option to toggle it off is in Options -> Advanced -> Interface -> Hud Settings and is called "Show Remote Capship Info".
