PCBing in nfz should trigger the sf, pretty simple suggestion. idk why you should be able to hold a capship in a sector with a pcb and not trigger the sf
-1
The PCB doesn't do any material damage. And the victim gets a defense flag against the attacker. Additionally, this can only happen in grey space, and grey space is supposed to be dangerous.

-1. In fact, you should be able to PCB and use rep guns in any NFZ, even in Nation Space, IMO.
In corvus apparently PCB doesnt trigger SF. So you can get your goliath or trident pcbed and it doesnt trigger SF
Also im not saying pcb should be locked in nfz, but that it should always trigger SF if used in a nfz. :)
+1 pcb should count as damage. Zapping energy and possibly shutting of the ships life support seem like a weapon to me.
PCB should never trigger the SF for the same reason that rep guns don't trigger the SF. They don't deal damage. "Get to any station" in greyspace shouldn't count as an escape condition if you're being chased, we have limited capship stations for a reason.
Lol PCB doesnt trigger any self defense though either in a corvus sector. So had you tried shooting back SF would trigger on YOU. The problem arises that if your pcbing you are at no risk to retaliation without utterly causing the death of the capship. They dont deal damage. But they do prevent you from defending yourself aswell. Im not saying normal stations should be safe either. But being unable to defend yourself inside a nfz because YOUD be retaliated by sf is stupid.
+1 or make PCB do 1 damage.
Also SF really are poor shooters. They should not do collateral damage to anyone that is not KOS.

+1 to SF damaging the temp/perm kos.
Thats a seperate, good idea though token

there is no such thing as a "self-defense" flag for Corvus. Shooting at someone in the NFZ in Corvus always triggers you to get TempKoS, even if they shot you first. This is how it's pretty much always worked, and for very good reasons.
Lol ive never gotten tempkos when ive been shot in corvus nfz. But i +1 pcb doing 1 damage, its not a huge change to the pcb but it fixes it not triggering sf in nfz
You misunderstood what I said. You always get TempKoS for Corvus if *you* violate the NFZ, even if you were shot at first; the "self-defense" flag that exists other stations does not exist at Corvus stations. This is by design.
Oh yeah, but using pcb doesnt trigger SF.
+1 to PCB dealing 1 damage as to easily fix that

-1 to adding 1 damage to the PCB. There is no issue that needs to be "fixed" here, but even if there were adding 1 damage to the PCB would be a monumentally dumb way to "fix" it. Because of how it works, adding 1 damage to it effectively equates to adding a lot more damage to a similar weapon, because it is able to hold a target in place and deal damage over time.
Adding one damage to a pcb would only affect people griefing capships in nfz, or using a alt to hold them in place and killing them without having to suffer consequences. If you can kill a player with 10,000+ health and not missing every time good for you
I'd love very much to slow kill IL's rag with a +1 damage PCB gun as he will not be able to dodge it.
YES PLEASE IMPLEMENT THAT SOON(TM)!

You could slow kill with a pcb and another weapon anyway? And there has yet to be cases of people having issues with that, or you even doing that to me. The only thing this affects is people who are griefing capships in nfz zones. Where you couldnt retaliate, or if you could youd die in the process.
No i just want to see your blasted face when you get killed with a PCB solely.
With another weapon, power cell is depleted too fast and the target has more chance to escape or retaliate :p

You can definetly chain it and make it have the same effect.
