Unrats steal drops

Right now, if unrats kill you, anything you drop hangs around in space until it despawns. If you're homed near enough, you can deepspace/clear the wormhole and get your cargo back pretty easily. And if you don't, your drops just despawn and benefit no one. Rather, suggestion:

1. Special unaligned freighters (Atlas, Centaur, Behemoth Heavy, Goliaths) spawn to pick up cargo from ships killed by unrats. This should not be too hard to engineer - remote control capships are already NPCs with the ability to travel to and pick up cargo.

2. The incidence of such ships spawning scales with the value of the drops they have salvaged. So initially, if the unrats have only salvaged cheap drops, they'll have only Atlas or Centaurs spawning. As the aggregate value of their salvage increases, so do the ships, the limit being Goliaths.
For drops that don't have a fair (or no) value in the station market values can be:
200,000 - Farmed/Manufactured Addons
15,000 - Synthetic Silksteel
500,000 - Hive Capital Drops
1,000 - Collector/Guardian cores
100,000 - Tier 1 manufactured items (FFSA, FCP, MCA)
500,000 - Tier 2 manufactured items (Whatever uses Tier 1 items to manufacture)
2,000,000 - Tier 3 manufactured items (Whatever uses Tier 2 items to manufacture
10,000,000 - Tier 4 manufactured items (Final level manufactured items: Eg EHA, 200MW)

2.1. The "value" needed for each higher level freighter would be:
1,000,000 - Behemoth Heavy
20,000,000 - Goliath

3. These ships do not stay in the sector with wormhole unrats for long. They enter, scoop, and leave. They will deliver passing fire at hostile ships though. However, they stay in the unrat captain sector, patrolling it. Thus, the difficulty of the unrat captain increases as the unrats accumulate more and more drops.

4. The salvage-bearing ships will jump and despawn once the unrat dent is killed. Therefore, to collect their drops one must kill them first while under fire from the dent and escort.

5. The in-game news could contain news on the approximate value of goods stolen by the current troop of unrats (not disclosing which system they are in). It could also contain information on the value of goods collected by a person from the unrats, similar to the unrat fighter kills announcement that exists now.

Advantages/Disadvantages (it's subjective):
1. Losing your drops to unrats pretty much means losing it for good, unless you want to take the effort to go and recover them.
2. Makes unrats more challenging as time goes by. At the same time, it also gets more rewarding.
3. Encourages group activity against unrats, while not making it exclusionary towards solo players.

They dont last long enough for this to be even a problem tho. seems like a cool idea so +1 for that but then seems kinda a waste when as soon as unrats are spotted within 30mins they are gone.

Currently that is the case. However, if the rewards increase with time, you might find people letting the unrats stay for a while longer to get higher rewards later.

I can see them still being killed. Either to troll ppl or to just get rid of em.
