There used to be some fun widgets at the begining of vo for wining or participating to events, like some guide's coconut bra*

Could we have for event participation some funny collectible widget based on dev, guides, or even players

They could be provided by event hosts at their discretion.
Could be just a standard graphic widget, the name would be customized, based on suggestions or event submisson thread. (it would filter inappropriate items)

I'll stop myself here because I could probably do this for 15 minutes and these are already pretty good.

Oh yeah I should add that I gave a bunch of my "rare" shit to pando for his collection; that ninny's got one of my unique trophies!

More fun widgets in VO would be a good thing.

However any creator of new ones would need to search the entire inventory of all accounts to ensure that it is new and not already in the possession of players past or present. For instance the singular coconut bra and the hand stitched leather wallet are known to be owned by a regular player. The TGFT database shows several hundred such items.

I no longer have a sweet tooth so I'm not bothered about the sugar cookies, but keep yer mucky paws off my grilled cheese sandwiches. As for the stockings and heels they are worn for certain types of party, but no amount of pestering by blood will return pics.

Oh and at my age the stasis pods might well turn out to be useful. All three of them ......

The only problem that I have with unique or special widgets is that there is no safe way to share your collection with others, so the existence of such items will be largely left to hearsay. Who wants to risk losing Conquest Diamond's Coconut Bra or Waffle's of Soggy's Pants just to prove that you have them?

1) unicity issue
Pretty sure that incarnate or ray knows which widget are existing in player inventory on server side (or have the mean to know).
The fact that you'd have to use the event mission creation to request the cretation of widget mitigates the duplicaation risk.
The widget is created by the devs or by a process server side (could be an IA) that would ensure unicity

2) showing off without blowing up issue
we could have a character page marked collection just like achievement where the player could choose to publicise or not his widgets.
