The difference is, just by signing a pettition your agreeing to it, its not *for discussion* its an idea i think is wanted by more than just me, and i would like to see how many people also think it is needed...

P.s you dont sign a pettition if you dont like the idea....lol
Genka must really want this =D

[edit]

Twas a joke, bad one i know, hence the =D....;p

Nah, it doesn't really matter to me either way. Odia isn't a very active system anyway, and corvus is over-rated.
I DO however have a bit of a dislike for petitions. It's not quite as bad as threads where everyone agrees with each other, but only because here people use a lot less words to say 'me too.'

Indeed. Drop the No-Fire zone, but keep the guards defending themselves and the penalty for killing them. It was rather weak to be able to kill the defbots without penalty.

I would love to see this.

/me signs petition.

I agree.
If I may attach a rider to this petition... nerf the Aerna Seekers as well! At least for non-nation Seekers. It makes no sense for, say, Ineubis to have an indefinite supply of military grade kamikaze bots.

Even though I'm a trader, I agree that Corvus, and gray space in general, is too "safe". If eliminating the no-fire zone adds to the "danger", then I'm all for it. The danger makes it all the more interesting for both the pirates and others who dare to approach the station. Without "danger", Gray space loses it's mystique and becomes boring.

As others have suggested, if it were possible to implement "don't fire at people with high corvus standings", that would be even better, because it would be more "realistic". Heck, maybe the corvus guards should charge protection fees for those with low Corvus standing. I also support the idea of NPC pirates.

Anyway, consider this my signature on the petition.

I say... just significantly reduce it... to like 30m (or even 20), only from the exit docks.

remove!

Grey space definatly needs to be more dangerous, the only danger in it currently is players, and thats not all that dangerous.

grey space isn't that dangerous... says the madman in his Quad Gauss Hornet. :-p

*signing petition*

Greyspace is too safe and boring

/me signs too, grey space is way to safe. People should be scared to enter.

I would like to see it happen

I have just notified that killing at Station Corvus = 0 standing lose. (i have killed an admired corvus player)

If its not a bug so the current system is good.

i dont think removing the "no fire zone" around station will help. could imagine a group of players camping station's exit and make impossible for a player go out.

or you could make the "no fire zone" down to 300 ms.

All you would have to do is buy the guys off.

I too think grey space is way too safe, I run down there all the time in a fully loaded cent with out too much trouble.

If this does not happen, i may consider leaving, there should at least be one station we can fight around.

(Me leave, come on!)

Perhaps if you held your breath or threatened not to be our best friend?

This is one of those subtle things that may get thrown in at some point. Consider your suggestion received and move on. Petitions aren't really the way to go here.

I'll hate the devs if this does not happen.

Hows that FM. :p
Really though more should be done to make grey space (at least around sednia, odia, and bracus) more dangerous. I think this staion idea would help alot, as pirates would not have to only hang out at WHs.
