I like that idea too, except it would be cool if the UIT could gain access to these weapons as well. I don't really want to level up an Alt just to try the cool toys the Itani and Serco get.

bring back the old fashioned ion.
ultra rapid fire, low damage, good times.
it was like having a big sword flying out of your ship.

But the ion was high damage, rapid fire and low energy usage...

thats why we liked it so much, and nobody practically used the laser :D
