Full Energy Needed to Warp

I don't know the technical reasons as to why it's setup the way it is right now, but to me, it seems rather odd that no matter what kind of battery I have... light... medium... heavy, I still always need full energy in order to warp (open a wormhole).

I think it would be a good idea to make the energy requirement a function of the mass of your ship. Perhaps speed could be considered into the equation as well... or other things. So instead of requiring full energy, a specific amount of energy would be necessary depending on the type of ship you have. It would have to be within reason of course, so the energy requirement for a majority of ships does not exceed the capacity of a light battery or something similar. The cap ship (and other ships of big sizes), for instance, would require a heavy battery, or something more powerful.

The psuedo-science babble is that a battery at any less than full charge will start to spike during warp, and cause your ship to boom. It's been discussed before: http://www.vendetta-online.com/x/msgboard/3/8428
