No Sound on Windows Vista after update

Hi, after the new update with sound fixes for vista my sound has completely gone. Before the update I used the WAV drivers as the other driver didn't work but had full sound with no problems.But now neither driver works and I get no sound.

My waverror.log is as follows

UPDATE: Right I reinstalled VO and ran it 'Fresh' with no plugins, skins etc and still same problem.

Not Sure if this helps but i had similar issues, switched to my headset and heard sounds using the vista driver... then realised my desktop sound system was set to 5.1 so changed it to plain stereo and voila! lots of nice sounds using the vista driver.

Neagoth, what does the waverrors.log file have in it when you try using the Vista driver?

Hi Ray well i got it working now, the only thing i did was what kirsten suggested and even tho my settings was stereo i changed it to 5.1 then back to stereo without booting game, then loaded up and all fine. And sorry didn't save a log for vista driver when it didn't work.
