i use a logitech mx500 and i can't access 5 of 8 buttons on the mouse. usboverdrive won't work, since vendetta seems to override it's inputs.
is there a way to make it work?

I don't have any drivers installed for my Logitech MX310. Not even USB Overdrive. And oddly enough all my buttons are detected in all my games. The native OS X mouse driver seems to do the job just fine. But in Vendetta... while my left thumb button causes a weird autofire bug, the key mapping screen sees up to four buttons for me--left, right, middle, and left thumb. The right pinky button registers as the same as the left thumb button. And I think the middle button (below scrollwheel) doesn't register either.

I think I only implemented the first 3 main buttons because we only have mice with up to 3 buttons. I'll see what I can do.

Toshiro: It's really strange that USB Overdrive won't work for you. I have my Logitech MX 500 set up to send keystrokes: F5, F6, the p key and the ' key. It works fine in Vendetta. Are the keystrokes working for you in other aps like TextEdit?

Arolte: I get that "autofire" thing if I disable USB Overdrive with my current Vendetta setup. Anyway, I have two fire buttons, turbo, flight mode toggle, fire mode toggle, and activate on the buttons. Wheel up and wheel down, which are detected fine by Vendetta with or without Overdrive on, are set to target ahead and target nearest enemy.

I'll have to try that. In the past I needed USB Overdrive, but perhaps that's no longer the case. I know joystick support has been very quietly brought up from a broken to awesome state.
