SLI support ?

Jul 21, 2016 Olsbyn link
I didn`t know where to actually post this, but posted here since I run Linux.

My question is if VO supports a SLI connection, my GPU`s are 2 Nvidia GTX 960 Maxwell, running in Debian Jesse ?

Really depends more on whether the video driver supports it.

All new gen Nvidia GTX supports SLI, it`s kinda their thing. And linux got full support on drivers.

What you say is not entirely correct, older games or old game setups often doesn support 2 GPU`s, it will default to using 1, while newer games will use both and share video memory.

I`m amazed none of the devs have answered this by now though, it IS after all more or less a support section..

If you need a more immediate response from the devs, try the Support link over here on the menu.

It would probably also be helpful though to say what you've tried to get SLI working so far. I don't have a pair of Nvidia cards to test this with, but from their documentation, it looks like once enabled the drivers should be handling it from that point on.

Maybe another player with a nice Nvidia rig can chime in with something more helpful.

SLI from the binary blob is handled by the driver, exposing 1 huge GPU. You dont need support from the game.
